Guest guest
Hi everyone, I'm Marcy, 42, from Houston, and I recently joined the group. I've had adult- onset asthma for the past 10 years and have learned to control it with a combination of Advair, Proventil and Singulair. Everything was going great until about 3.5 months ago when I suddenly began losing my voice! I have the regular allergy syptoms but nothing to warrant losing my voice for so long. And, considering I manage a busy hair salon, I really need to figure out this problem pronto! I've gone through acid reflux treatments, nasal allergy inhalants and now I'm thinking it's the Advair. My doctor switched me to Asthmanex yesterday so hopefully the problem will clear itself up. My main question is this: what have other people done to get their voices back? I'm starting to think this might be permanent. Marcy
