Guest guest Posted January 16, 2006 Report Posted January 16, 2006 CITY HALL LETS HOSPITALS BAN YOU FOR COMPLAINT Help enact a law to stop this nasty hospital retaliation HOSPITALS CAN BAN YOU FOR ANY COMPLAINT, ending your medical care, because no law prohibits that. CLEVELAND CLINIC sometimes does this, and can ban you from medical care from all its hospitals and clinics and its hundreds of doctors, simply by entering a ban code in its computerized appointments system. The result can be death or a worse medical outcome for you, because Cleveland Clinic is the best Greater Cleveland hospital for some serious medical conditions. Cleveland Clinic's hospitals: Fairview, Lakewood, Lutheran, SouthPointe, Huron, Euclid, Hillcrest, mount, and its clinics in Westlake, Solon, Lakewood, Beachwood, Strongsville, Warrensville Heights, Chagrin Falls, Independence, Elyria, Lorain, Brunswick, and Willoughby. MANY DEADLY MEDICAL ERRORS " As many as 98,000 Americans still die each year because of medical errors …. according to the study in The Journal of the American Medical Association, reported in USA Today Newspaper " Medical Errors Still Claim Many Lives " May 18, 2005. We deserve the right to complain and not be banned. Not held accountable. Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals and Metro each receive millions of our taxpayers dollars yearly in Medicare and Medicaid reimbursements, but government allows them to ban you for any complaint. Corrupt politicians don't care. They know hospitals won't ban powerful people like them. Hospitals are not licensed in Ohio. They fund political parties. CLEVELAND CITY COUNCIL PROTECTS HOSPITALS – NOT PUBLIC, by failing to enact this needed law. Lawyer FRANK JACKSON became Cleveland Mayor January 2006. He blocked this proposed law by telling City Council to not introduce it, while he was City Council president the last few years. City Councilmen Joe Cimperman, Zach , Polensek, Dona Brady and Pat Britt all refused to introduce this legislation. Brady wrote a letter stating said don't introduce it. He only got elected mayor because he spent over a million dollars, fooled the voters, and Jane was lame. Councilman Britt chairs City Council's Health Committee. She claimed Cleveland cannot enforce it as her false excuse to not support this law, despite receiving two letters from a staff attorney of the State of Ohio legislature in Columbus (Ohio General Assembly) clearly explaining that Cleveland can enact and enforce this law. Councilmen know that if they introduce this legislation, hospitals and doctors in Greater Cleveland can find and finance a candidate to defeat them in the next election. More proof Cleveland can enforce this law. Cleveland ordinance 375.08 prohibits landlords from retaliating against tenants for complaints. Cleveland city law chapter 231 regulates abortions in hospitals, proving Cleveland can regulate hospitals. The Ohio Nursing Home Bill of Rights, Ohio law 3721.13 prohibits nursing homes from retaliating against their residents who complain. CITY COUNCIL , PROVEN ENEMY OF PUBLIC. It does not permit residents of Cleveland to speak at City Council meetings. Yet the dozens of other cities in Greater Cleveland permit their residents to. But Cleveland City Council disregards the public it pretends to serve, keeps Clevelanders shut up and avoids being questioned in public this way. PLAIN DEALER CENSORSHIP ON THIS. The Plain Dealer stated in writing that it refuses to publish any public meeting announcements about this issue, and refuses to explain why. It protects its big advertisers, hospitals.
