Guest guest Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 Hi, You have got it all wrong. Your son did not decide to get asthma but he can 'decide' to get out of it. Rather than being sceptical about it please read it out to your son and let him do it. If he cannot relax it does't matter. See what happens in one week. You will be amazed at the results. What can you lose? Your son will gain tremendous self-confidence when it works. Regards. Guest guest Posted August 24, 2006 Report Posted August 24, 2006 You sound like the quacky, fraudulent "faith healers" on TV. I wish I could decide to get out of asthma and diabetes. That would be like heaven on earth for me. What if this child has a serious attack and can't stop it with your "method." Then where will his self-confidence be. I'm trying hard to be nice here, but I think you need to stop while you're ahead. arunpbisoy wrote: Hi,You have got it all wrong. Guest guest Posted August 26, 2006 Report Posted August 26, 2006 Because there IS NO CURE FOR ASTHMA! Asthma is a chronic lung disease. It can be controlled, but not cured. It is like diabetes...you can't cure it either, but you can get it under control. If you want to defend that asshole quack, you will not be welcome here. Guest guest Posted August 27, 2006 Report Posted August 27, 2006 Correction Sue - You are not welcome here as far as I'm concerned. And, I believe we all have enough to deal with in life without your blatant negativity, alienating tactics, constant criticism and in this case obscene language. Ignoring your posts is normally my first choice, but this time, I had to speak up. Why don't you find another group that suits your style better? I'd start with doing a search on bullies in yahoo groups. Your routine has gotten so old and it's not productive in any way. I just laugh when I read your posts. Funny that you have nothing to respond to about Ty's dr. visit, which WAS THE TOPIC actually. Get a life!!!! Get your email and more, right on the new Yahoo.com Quote

Guest guest Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 "Use your delete key instead of trying to censor everyone." Actually some of us have kids in our homes and normally the computer is in the family room. Please watch the language. Thanks, Christy Quote
Guest guest Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 I REPEAT....use your delete key instead of trying to censor everyone. Your kids shouldn't be reading your email anyway, and they shouldn't be using the computer unsupervised. Look, I realize everyone on this list hates me and thinks I am horrible and worthless, but I will not apologize for getting mad when some quack spams us with his "cure" for asthma or tells us it's all in our heads. I also will not apologize for having no sympathy or tolerance for people who post saying they have asthma and smoke 3 packs a day, or who post about how bad they feel and that the doctor told them they need to go into the hospital but they refused. If someone refuses to take care of themselves properly why should they get sympathy? If having no tolerance for spammers, quacks, and people like the above makes me horrible and worthless to you all, so be it.. Sue Re: I am amazed at the negative reaction. Guest guest Posted September 11, 2006 Report Posted September 11, 2006 I don't have any sympathy for asthmatic smokers either. I also don't want to put up with quacks. But, I can be NICE. Children can using a computer anytime should be supervised some, but you can still watch your language. You are not horrible and useless. You just need to tone it down a little. > > I REPEAT....use your delete key instead of trying to censor everyone. Guest guest Posted September 11, 2006 Report Posted September 11, 2006 Never mind that it's difficult to relax while you're suffocating; I'm not sure it's worth doing. I've made an honest attempt to relax during asthma attacks and never noticed any good effects from doing so. I find it a LOT more useful to contemplate something, anything that makes me hyper and gets my adrenaline going. The old- fashioned short-term remedy, after all, was a shot of adrenaline, not a sedative. -- In asthma , " arunpbisoy " wrote: > > Hi, > Whatever relaxation is possible is alright.
