Guest guest
Hi : That was nice of you to share your deep poem. I wrote a few poems about my mother -- one was a positive one about her hanging up clothes in the backyard. The second one was about her NEVER following MY lead. (Never connecting) But I didn't come 1/Millionth in describing it! I loved your poem. It comes 1/Million times closer to describing the distance between your mothers and your " warmth " , " love " and psyches. Thanks for sharing it! Barb > She is left cold > standing in the warmth of your love > > your thoughtless need > for her silent company > astounds her waking eyes > all that she is > screams to you > and you deafly smile > > her flesh > and your flesh > beat and pump the same blood > > you gave her life > > leaving her to wonder > how life escapes you > > guilt consumes her tender soul > as she continues to stand > in your warmth and her cold > > and she looks at you asks > what do you love? > >
