Guest guest
NEGATIVITY I write this on the third morning of fog. Fog is elusive. It seems to be there, but it really isn't. Of course, the miniature drops of water are really hanging in the air, but there is no " fog " . But the effects are real. Fog blinds us when we drive. Fog obscures our vision when we look out the window. And fog can often bring down our mood. Fog is, in fact, a lot like anger, guilt, fear and other negative emotions. They are not usually real, although their causes are. And they often blind us, obscure our vision and make us feel blue. Recognizing that they are not there is the first step toward lifting our mood and clarifying our vision. If we remind ourselves that the emotions need not be real and that we can surmount them, we are half-way there. If only the fog could be lifted that easily. ____________________________________ May you live all the days of your life, Leonhardt, The Happy Guy A Daily Dose of Happiness is a production of: http://TheHappyGuy.com RR2, Chesterville, Ontario, Canada, K0C 1H0 © 2004 Leonhardt
