Guest guest
My name is Carole, I live in the UK and I have suffered for 4 years from chronic Pelvic Pain after a misdiagosed burst fallopian tube! (And a consequent abscess) It seems I was one of the lucky ones and it only took me 4 years to get some real help in the form of a pelvic clearance. So now at the age of 35 I find myself without any reproductive organs and in a lot less pain than before. I have taken control and I am managing my pain myself now and getting my life back! I am a music teacher/musician and music is really important to me. I began a course in the psychology of music 2 years ago (in an attempt to be normal and get on with my life which unfortunately my consultant interpretated as 'aah she's well again!') and I am more and more interested in music as a complimentary pain reliever. Does anyone here use music to help/distract them from their pain? Has anyone tried tens machines with success? Thanks for being there Carole
