She is capable of taking a child to get ice cream, so so has to be able to drive and reason. Also, don't let her blackmail you over your child. Unless a court can prove you are unfit, no grandparent stands much of a chance. does she really have enough money to try it? Do you really want your nada around your daughter??? Think of your nada as a terrorist or something - how would you act??? This is no different. High functioning or low - protect your child - it's your job!!! Protect yourself, no one says you HAVE to do anything. Read Emotional Blackmail and don't give in to her threats. They've worked in the past and as long as they continue to work, you will stay on the merry-go-round with her!!!
