ine,

I'm really proud of you! Especially when you have a goal that is hard

to deal with or to overcome, and then you DID overcome it!!! How wonderful!!!

I imagine you feel like going out and conquering the world now?! Just teasing.

I'm very happy for you, and congratulations are in order!! LOVe & HUgs, PJ

Well, something good happened today. I got together with an old

friend who I have not be able to see for 3 years because of terrible

anxiety problems. I have had symptoms since Thurs. No sleep,

gagging, anxiety. Talked to myself alot and didn't cancel and went

through with it. Even though i had a couple of uneasy moments I got

through it and I am so proud of my self. Hidden anxiety, fear of

people, etc. Imazing how it can keep you in a jail. It felt real but

it wasn't. I did it! ine

Well, had an intersting night. Took a bus to Borders to knit with a

group that meets every tuesday night. The bus driver tells me she

went to far. So I get off and backtrack. Then I stop in a store and

they tell me it is the opposite way. I must have walked about 4

miles. My back was hurting, I was tired but I didn't want to

disappointed in myself. I used self talk- " you can do it! " Your legs

are strong. You are strong. You are terrific. Just think how great

you will feel when you get there " . Well I finally went there and

because I was so tired when I got there there my social anxiety was

gone. I introduced myself. I asked for each person's name and where

they lived and what they were working. I was fine. I started

working on something and one woman saw I had a problem and said let

me help you. And when I left someone offered to take me home. What

a success!! Finally!!! Needed to share! ine

ine,

This is GREAT! You didn't just turn around and go back home!! You ARE

capable of doing things once you set your mind to them. You made new friends -

had

an adventure - and got some exercise too (I haven't walked that much in

ages).

Way to go girl!
