He is almost 3 and a half years old I really want to get him in this therapy. Can someone tell me some ideas or things I can do to get him in it? In San , there is a wonderful school called " One for Autism " where they use ABA and discrete trials to ensure generalization. The distinction is important when it comes to whether you want the insurance to reimburse you or the school district. ISDs will in no way compensate you for services your child receives in a clinic and insurance will not compensate you for services your child receives in a school. S. As far as she is concerned, it's her school. My daughter has made fantastic progress here. We are very happy here - happy enough for me to make a 26 mile commute one way to get her to school each day.
