Guest guest Posted March 21, 2006 Report Share Posted March 21, 2006 Hi! My name is Crystal . I have a son that is 8 with autism. He is non verbal and has low IQ. Our school district does nothing to help these kids. They sit in a classroom that has 15 kids 1 teacher and 2-3 aids. They do not have music or pe and they never go out into the community. I need help on learning what most public schools offer for their special ed classes. I feel that we are behind in all services. I am trying to get them to implement the pecs system which they have agreed to help but they should already be doing it!! Thanks --------------------------------- Yahoo!
