Guest guest
Fina, Another great place is the www.tacanow.org site. You can get the Parents Guide in a book, a dvd, or go through it all on the website. Great information for parents from parents. dmirandag wrote: Hello everyone, I have been reading all the postings since I joined a couple of days ago and OH BOY!! the more I read the more I realize I do not know much!!! He was already off dairy since it was an issue since he was an infant so I really just took out the gluten... He regressed in behaviors for about 3 to 4 days but he is back to where he was.... I started cod liver oil yesterday and I noticed his eye contact improved really nice. Today for the first time I did not have to tell him to say hello to the busdriver (that takes him to pre-school) and he looked right at her. That was really nice. Anyhow, I'm one of the lucky ones (from what I read so far) that have a DAN doctor 25 minutes from my house. But he wont be able to see my son until November or December... I do not have a clear idea when to do what. Please any advise is very much welcomed, Fina
Guest guest
You are off to good start. You may want to consider the French porphyrin test. www.labbio.net In the meantime I would read, read, and read some more. Other Yahoo groups you might find helpful are autism-mercury, chelatingkids2, and EOHarm. You can watch DAN! Conferences for free online at www.danwebcast.com National Vaccine Information Center at www.nvic.org Generation Rescue at www.generationrescue.org Books to read include “Changing the Course of Autism” by Dr. B Jepson “Healing the New Childhood Epidemics: Autism, ADHD, Asthma and Allergies” by Dr. K Bock “Children with Starving Brains” by Dr. J McCandless “Evidence of Harm” by Kirby “What Your Doctor May NOT Tell You about Childhood Vaccines” by Dr. S Cave Pamela " Courage is doing what you're afraid to do. Anyhow, I have a 3 1/2 year old boy with autism and I have started him on the GFCF diet a week ago... Like we all know, time is of the essence... I have ordered the IGG food allergy test and I'm taking him today to get it. But after this I'm really not sure what to do next. I do not have a clear idea when to do what. Please any advise is very much welcomed, Fina
Guest guest
Also go to www.generationrescue.org Begin Treatment tab. Very parent friendly site gives you the big picture. Don’t worry, it gets easier. Holly Mom of Quinn, age 4, recovering!
