Guest guest
I don't know......I just had to tell someone about all this. Yesterday I was a bundle of energy, dancing and singing at work, and I was really in the mood to Tae Bo, but of course I couldn't , We all have "off" days like that where no matter what you do, you just can't get into your workout. It's perfectly normal. Try not to beat yourself up about it I hope you aren't getting sick and that tomorrow's workout goes better for you!! Guest guest
, sorry you considered your workout crummy. Just think of it as a learning experience. Stretch before getting on that Torso Track and don't overdo it!!!! This bronchitis is reminding me that taking a WEEK off now and then won't kill us in fact some people reccommend it. I know it is a horrible feeling wanting to workout but not being able to because of physical or time circumstances. Remember that if you are working hard at work you still need to get rest in order to keep your immuse system up. If you workout when you are over tired you will only wear yourself down more. << Well, my workout today sucked! I hadn't exercised in about four days, because I've been working 10 hour days this past week, so that disrupted my schedule. So today is my day off, and I decided to get back into the swing of things with AL9. Everything started out okay, but within the first five minutes, my stomach was bothering me. All morning I had this crampy feeling, which I think is due, in part, to overworking my abs on the Torso Track (I figured since my parents bought one, why not use it?). Everytime I jumped, my " stomach " hurt. Now, I also think maybe the feeling was hunger because I only had a fruit smoothie for breakfast, but normally that is satisfying enough until I eat lunch. But maybe today my body wanted something else, I don't know LOL. Anyway, I continued with the workout, but just couldn't get into it. I quit before sets were over, and ever fast-forwarded through moves I didn't like. Now this is totally not like me at all! The last time I felt like this was when I was starting to get a cold, back in April. I know a lot of people are getting sick around me, but I feel fine. I was thinking maybe my immune system is fighting a cold off, and that is making me feel like this. Could that be it? I don't know......I just had to tell someone about all this. Yesterday I was a bundle of energy, dancing and singing at work, and I was really in the mood to Tae Bo, but of course I couldn't. And now, I have an entire day off, and I just couldn't make it. I'm going to workout tomorrow though. Not giving up!!! who realized he wrote a *long* vent LOL >>
Guest guest
Hey , Sorry about the bad workout day. We all have those every now and then. I'm sure your next workout will be a lot better. Ann Marie - who had the same bad workout yesterday and feels a cold coming on > Well, my workout today sucked! From working out with you at the WTC, I know that you are the kind of person that tries to give 100% to every workout. When your body doesn't cooperate, it is tough. I love your spirit though and I have no doubt that you will be back 100% to taebo tomorrow. Elena, who had a yucky workout this morning but blamed it on the hour. I was tempted to give up in the middle, but I made it all the way through. I didn't feel so yucky today, either (although I do feel a bit nauseous......could only handle oatmeal for breakfast and grapenuts with soy yogurt for lunch. Everything else made me feel sick just thinking about it.) I know I'm back on track now, though who appreciates the support and advice from everyone. =) *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* Reach your full potential! Guest guest
, Don't sweat it! Sometimes, for me, the first day back working out after several days off, I have a burst of energy...other times, I drag my a**. Take credit for doing something when you wanted to do nothing! And, remember today is a new day. ;-) F
