Welcome to the List, sure sorry for your needing it, but you have at least found a great bunch of people. There are many here to answer any questions, so ask away.. Sheena Hi guys, My name is . I live in Irvine California. I have had hep c for over 30 years. I am 52. Until this year I had no symptoms. Boy did it move fast. I am now boarder line stage 4 with portal hypertension and a swollen spleen, I start interferon in 2 weeks. My doctor says that if the treatment works I may never have to have a liver transplant.. ......if it doesn't then we are looking at a timing thing to get me on a list down the road. I have an 11 year old and 17 year old. Of course I am scared. No other symptoms then the swollen spleen and my calf's have poor circulation. I never drank in my life and then 5 years ago decided that I wanted to.......... how bright am I. I am sure that is what brought this on faster. Any feedback and fellowship is appreciated. I live in Irvine and work in CM......I go to Dr Stanton in Orange - he is supposed to be the best. Also I have a blood doc because of my spleen being swollen it is trapping my white platelets and white blood cells........I am also very anemic so in order to do the treatment I have to work with him every week to. What a mess, and I just opened a new business.......so I don't know how it will all get done but I guess it will no matter what! Nice to hear from someone local Hi guys, My name is .
