ASO and Anti D Nase B test question

Hi,

My daughter started anti-biotics a couple of days ago, even though her strep

culture two months ago was negative (we had other reasons to believe it my be

PANDAS - if you are curious, please see trend post).

My question is, should we still be pushing for the ASO and Anti D Nase B tests?

Or will the anti-biotics throw those results off?

(Unfortunately, we have not really seen much improvement yet - she has had three

doses as of this morning. I have also been giving her ibuprofen 3x a day).

Should we be pushing for the steroid burst if we don't have other evidence

besides the sudden onset and the OCD/tic/strep trends in her classroom?
