-- Re: Muscle pain

Hi Melt,

My first diagnosis in 1996 was Dermatomyositis, which has muscle

pain/weakness as one of it's major symptoms. The diagnosis changed

to Still's in 2001 under my new RD - I'm a very typical Still's

patient, but I still have a lot of muscle trouble. I just read for

the first time, in the Dr Cush article, that Still's and

Dermatomyosistis are difficult to distinguish between. My RD also

says that sometimes symptoms of different Rheumatological conditions

can overlap - I'd always wondered why my muscle symptoms were

outside the Still's mold but as someone said it can effect all

connective tissues too because of this overlap. I'm really

interested in the connection between Still's and muscle involvement,

so it was good to see this post. Not sure I've been much help in

answering your question, but just wanted to let you know you're not

alone with it =)

Take care,

constant Charlie horse. Each time blood clots are ruled out because

of a prior history.

Kathleen, or Caroline, or someone with these issues can

you help enlighten me?

thought I might get some insight here.
