What is the recommendation dosage for Vitamin D? My 16 month old had been taking one drop of the Carsons, but it seems everyone else is going much higher with their dosages.

it's winter, we live in Beijing, and my daughter with Ds has been fighting chest

colds

so most days I give around 6,000 to 10,000 iu

we do skip days if she's had a lot of IUs many days in a row, or good sunshine

for some reason.
