Literal thinking squared..

Okay I have a good one for all you literal thinkers.

My daughter wanted to look at her *** with a mirror so I let her….no

hiding things here.

She was very distressed to the point of tears when she discovered she

had a `hole'. She said she needed to get it fixed that she wanted a

big band-aid and she needed to go to the doctors..actually she said

vet but I clearified the difference.

I said this is normal that all girl/ladies have this hole and that I

have one too. It is suppose to be there and that's what makes us

girls. Boys don't have one. She still was quite distressed, and this

hole to her had to be fixed.

Anyone come across such a thing?

I guess I need to get out the books with pictures. She's only 6 I

thought it would be a while before such issues came up.
