I really like this recipe and will always have it as part of my diet.

Its a bit much to make but I make up enough for at least 3 days for

hubby and me. Cooking keeps me out of the chair and bedroom :)

Serves 3

Scrambled Tofu

2 tablespoons water

1 1/2 lb tofu cubed

2 small onions peeled and diced

1 tablespoon minced garlic (I use 4 cloves)

1/2 green bell pepper finely chopped

1/2 cup fresh sliced mushrooms

4 tablespoons cold pressed virgin olive oil

1/2 teaspoon brown mustard

2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce

1 teaspoon curry powder

1/4 teaspoon chili powder

4 tablespoons fresh mint or parsley finely chopped

1/2 teaspoon dried tarragon

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Heat the water in a skillet or wok, add the tofu, onions, Garlic,

bell pepper and mushrooms, then add olive oil.

Cook for 8-10 mins over a medium heat.

Mix the mustard and soy sauce together in a bowl and pour over the

tofu mixture in the wok or pan

Stir in the curry powder, mint, tarragon, chili powder, black pepper,

and continue cooking for 6-8 mins until most of the liquid in the wok

or pan evaporates.

I serve it hot on a bed of fresh spring salad mix or herbal salad mix

and sprinkle it with LSA (recipe to follow)

LSA (Linseed's, Sunflower Seeds and Almonds

3 cups whole linseed's (flax-seed)

2 cups whole sunflower seeds

1 cup whole almonds

Mix and grind together until fine

store in a dark air tight glass jar in the refrigerator

This mixture has a lightly sweet and nutty taste and can be sprinkled

on rice, pasta, fruit, vegetables or anything :) Its a good source of

protein, essential fatty acids, minerals and fiber.

I know its hard but get off your butts and make the above. Its one of

the best Dragon fightin tool I know of and that is called eating the

right foods to fight the bastard YeeHa

This recipe and more is in a great book by Dr Cabot specifically

geared toward fighting HepC with food. Its called " The Liver

Cleansing Diet by Dr. Cabot " and can be bought or ordered on

line or at any book store. I don't take all the supplements she

recommends but I do take the Livatone Plus vitamin/herbal supplement

which are all approved by Mayo. Its a great book called the liver

cleansing diet and hot dang its working for me. My number one

priority and a must do is to cook and prepare healthy meals every

single day. I make up large batches of soups and freeze them and

there is always left overs which do not get thrown in the garbage in

this house. Are there days I don't want to cook....hell ya!!! That's

when I use my frozen meals that I have made up in advance and my

juices and smoothie drinks. Dragons don't like healthy diets :) If I

get so bad I cannot do this anymore I am hoping hubby will. In case

he can't I hire a companion to come in. IMHO taking Tx without a

really good diet is a total waste of time and a set up for failure.

Fresh food has always worked in the past for me to cure many little

health issues. I am so hoping its true with HepC. I also have a herb

garden so most of my herbs I just go pick off the bush. I have a ton

of Rosemary (great with any fish meal) if anyone needs some. That

stuff grows faster than I can use it!

Eeew I wrote a book here " giggle " can any one tell I am very

passionate about foods that heal :)

> Hi everyone.. Ok so I need to get a juicer. But what I really need

is how to make smoothies and recipes or websites with healthy

smoothies (also for veggies too) I have slowly been trying to stop

eating red meat. I have been raised on it and my family too. But I

know for a fact that when I eat red meat of any kind, the next is a

fog day. So PLEASE recipes, ideas anything.

Thanks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
