I forgot about the Einstein syndrome article. Way back before I knew anything

at all about autism... I showed that to my husband who was they just my

boyfriend letting me help him with his kids.

DS-Aut. However now that there are so many new members perhaps someone will take

it upon themselves to create one. It's easy enough to do at Yahoo.

a handful to 1200 in what? 10 years? And one of the things that has held us

together (I believe) is the lack of discord concerning the dreaded abortion

topic which has been the downfall of many a list. This topic comes up inevitably

on a list where religious content is encouraged. Ditto for the politics....the

rage and spiteful anger that was spewed on many a list during this last

presidential campaign, healthcare reform etc was delightfully absent from this

list.

Einsteinsyndrome list which is decidedly Christian but quite open to all

persuasions...I've been a member since it's inception and tho they deal

primarily with " just " Down Syndrome, there are several of us with dual dxes on

the list. It's a great place to learn more about actual DS biochemistry lest we

lose sight of that once we have the Autism dx.

That is *why* I gave a heads up. 8)

There is a group that addresses special needs that is christian based. I posted

the link in the other message. We are a new growing group. Many homeschool, many

want to, some who do not yet. All with special needs. All with no fear of

mentioining God.
