Hi everyone ... I've was away over the Labor Day Holiday and have since

been busy with helping Katrina evacuees, so I am slow to catch up on

everything.

Whew -- that was a lot of emails to read through! :-)

Anyhow, as you may know, I write a lot of articles and I ran across a

couple of opportunities that some of you may be interested in. Here they are:

1. Wanted: both " success stories " and " horror stories " with regard to

BEING APPROVED FOR (OR DENIED) SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY BENEFITS. Will use

name or keep confidential as requested. Participants will receive a f.ree

copy of book when published. Prefer to do brief phone interview. Contact

thedisabilitydoc@....

2. Looking for very brief stories of OVERCOMING for my bi-weekly

newsletter. Example: The worst day of my life was when I was laid off from

the company where I'd worked for 30 years. I was 58, still full of

enthusiasm and terrified that I'd never find another job. After sitting

around for a month feeling sorry for myself and getting on my wife's

nerves, I decided, since I was in sales, to get on the phone and start

selling myself. I called everyone I knew even slightly, letting them know

exactly what I was looking for. One of the 500 calls panned out and I

found a great job. Yes, that's right, it took 500 calls. Fear of losing

everything (my wife is disabled and can't work) was a great motivator.â€

This may be simplistic, but it's the kind of problem>negative r

eaction>solution> take away--story I'm looking for.

GOOD LUCK!

Love and Prayers,

Beth
