Catheter? No, no. Maybe

Charlie et al. were at WDW about a month ago. Can see some of that at

And a snip from elsewhere about that trip, And I think I learned

something this trip that I should have already known. Outside Crystal

Palace I wandered into the first aid station instead of the baby care

area. I was going to change Charlie's underjam. Nurse said I was in the

right place to change him, very accommodating and friendly. I said,

great, I didn't really have any business hanging out with young nursing

mothers in the baby care area. Nurse said, no, you don't, should use

first aid stations, one in each park, to change older special needs

kids. Nurse also gave me a lens case later in the day because I had

forgot to put one in the diaper bag. So, for anyone going to WDW with an

older kid who's not toilet trained, or is any need of anything else, I

highly recommend the first aid stations.

Oh, but no matter, 'cause we ain't ever going there again. -- Bob

Subject: Puzzeling Potty Problem

We are planning a trip to DisneyWorld this coming October and

I need some advice on a small potty problem. Every single time we go to a

" park " whether it be Six Flags or the state fair or DisneyWorld. ... Chandler

wets his pants sometimes before we even ride anything. I spent our last Disney

trip fussing at him and changing his clothes many, many times every day. It's

not alot, not like emptying his entire bladder just enough to make him noticably

wet. We take him to the restroom and make sure he goes but that doesn't seem to

make a difference. It's almost like the excitement or anticipation makes him

nervous or something. I have asked him over and over if he is scared or wants

to leave or take a break and he always says no. He LOVES the rides, the shows,

all of it so I'm not sure why he does it. All of our Disney pics from last time

were cropped from the waist up to not show the wet pants which were in almost

every pic.... I

just want to avoid him feeling so bad and us constantly changing clothes. I

don't think he is going to stop the wetting so I need some ideas. I was

thinking maybe the big kid pull ups but he gets very upset when I even mention

them and says they are baby diapers and he's a big boy. Anybody else experience

this? Any ideas for alternatives to the big boy pull ups?

How about some plan ahead and add some extra padding and waterproofing to

his regular underwear? OR some of the newest night dry pants?

This may sound bizarre but what about a sanitary napkin placed higher up in

his underwear?
