Guest guest Posted October 9, 2004 Report Posted October 9, 2004 I had Garrett's strep titers checked again on Tuesday. They are still very high. They haven't dropped at all since July. He has been on antibiodics three different times since July (10 day doses.) I've reported how he is extremely depressed and has become very angry, irritable, beligerant at times, etc... I took him to the psychiatrist yesterday. She recommended a PHP, Partial Hospitalization Program. She wants him to begin on Tuesday, after our three day weekend. He would attend from 8-3:30. Has anyone done something like this with their child? Also, she wants to add another medication. Anyone got ideas about the PHP? The psychologist has him scheduled to do a complete psych evaluation.
