Guest guest
Our daughter (4 last February) is still so jealous of the girl we adopted last October. We've had here 7 1/2 months now, and is probably even more jealous then when she first got here. 's favorite way to hurt is to still pull her hair. She'll go after constantly throughout the day for no apparent reason. Nobody has to be paying any attention to for to attack her. And I do mean attack. She'll chase her, and pull her to the ground by her hair - using both hands. Time outs only slow down a few moments. I used to be able to separate them with the furniture in the living room, but 's climbing too much these days for anything to separate them. Thank God still naps in the afternoons. Yesterday I tried to get them to work on activities at the new Little Tikes table we just got. kept messing up every activity, because was included. One time she went around, and pulled off the table from behind. I'm at my wits end these days, because has been out of school since June 2nd. I knew June was going to be long, but not this long! I'm in tears at least once a day. Dr. Rosenbaum (Genetics) & Dr. Gersch (Developmental Pediatrician) have mentioned ADHD & possible PDD. We don't have our 2nd followup appointments with them until Fall. My mother keeps saying needs some kind of medication, and I'm beginning to think so too. However, if somebody is jealous of someone how can a medication do anything about that? At least if the aggression wasn't so strong... Are any of your children taking medication for aggression? If yes, what kind, and what side effects are they experiencing? Thanks so much, Nina
