Guest guest
Greetings to one and all, I am a 46-year old GWM living with AIDS. I write you because I am a long-term survivor. I was diagnosed in 1993 HIV+ following a blood test that showed I had the antibody in my system. Both the Western Blot and tests confirmed it. In 1997, I received my AIDS diagnosis. Not knowing where I might had been, I celebrate every day with joy and gladness. I am often called on by my peers for being so blatant about my age. I go with the flow and I have told my doctor that; "I plan to be around for the cure." My life includes my lover of 9 years, our dog, church, and my "adopted" son, Larry who has Down's Syndrome. I enjoy KARAOKE, DVD'S, and am a big "Desperate Housewives" fan. I enjoy watching "The 4400" on USA, and recently have been turned on to "I've Got A Secret" on GSN. We all have come a long way from the negative in the 1950's and the having to remain in the closet for fear of being ostracized or even murdered. I love music of 1960's, Girl Groups, Motown. I also am a big Creedence Clearwater fan after seeing Fogarty in concert. (I won 5th row seats from a local DJ here in my home city) I am a Disco fan as this was the era I attended High School with, and do not care much for RAP. My favorites in the acting world are Bullock, (I would love to meet that glamorous lady) and Tom Hanks. My favorite comedians include Lily Tomlin, and Suzanne Westenhoefer. My hope is that I can network with other POZ people. I am not looking for sex or romance. I just like to meet people for support as we all face this illness at various levels in our lives. Take care, and drop me an e-mail when you feel the need. All good and healthy wishes, Yahoo! Music Unlimited - Access over 1 million songs. Try it free.
