Guest guest Posted October 11, 2006 Report Posted October 11, 2006 Hi All, The pilot of the plane, Cory Lidle, is the son of my husband's cousin. HIs grandmother - who was more like his mother - died just last month. He has two kids. The Oakland A's are playing in the world series tonight - it was his first major league team that he played on and was only traded to Philly about a year ago and to the Yankees this summer. WE are very sad. j OMG A plane or helicopter crashed into an apartment bldg. in NYC a few minutes ago. Guest guest Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 Joan, My condolence to you and your family. Prayers for his family for just going through the lost of his grandma and now this. What tragedy and may answers be resolved on why it had happen? I know it will ease the pain somewhat during the grieving process. Comfort hugs to all. It must be awful having this all over national news -- it's like these things happen to other people -- it can't be real. My daughter Suzanne is 3 ½ and sleeps in the same room with her sister . She has been in a crib mainly because she is still on oxygen at night and we worry about her wandering around and getting her cord tangled around her or her bed. I think she is ready to switch, she climbs into her sister’s bed which is a trundle bed and is taller than a regular twin bed. Any experience with transitioning with oxygen?? Stefanie Quote
