Depends on your money situation

Since all of the tapes cost around the same, I would recommend an Advance

Live with a good floor section so you can work both the lower body and the

upper body and have more cardio for the same price

I really liked the last one AL10 for both floor and cardio (I think? have to

check my notes LOL)

you can always split an Advanced into 2 separate work-outs too with alittle

modification

Hi Janette!

They're abbreviations for the Tae-Bo Live tape series.

AL = Advanced Live

BL = Basic Live

SB = Studio Basic

SA = Studio Advanced

Are they harder than the regualr advance and basic?

The Live tapes have definitely stepped up the pace from the original

Tae-Bo videos. They've all got a variety of great music in them and

a lot of new moves. I highly recommend them to you if you're needing

more variety in your workout or if the Studio Basic tape has become

easy for you. You can't go wrong with any of them.

Janette,

The LIVE tapes are soooooo much fun! Maybe as a reward for yourself

for finishing your 30 day challenge, you can get yourself one of the

Live tapes! Currently, there are 10 Basic Live workouts and 10

Advanced Live workouts available! A new one comes out each

month....we're waiting for the #11's to be released! Also, there is

a Live version of the 4 pack (Instructional, Basic, Advanced and 8

minute) that is phenomenal! The Instructional is excellent and

really does a much better job than the Original Instructional tape!

There are a ton of tapes out there, and they are live classes, with

real music! I would definitely recommend getting one or two, so that

you have some variety! Hey, now you've got something to put on your

Christmas list :)

Sounds good, I will definetely get at least one. Have you tried the

abs and glutes. I don't have that one. Can anyone let me know if

it's really good.

Janette,

I do have the Abs and Glutes tape! I've only done it once, but it is

definitely a good workout! AL5 (the tape you hear us all complaining

about) is almost ALL floorwork! It starts off with about 15 minutes

of cardio and then the rest (45 minutes) is all on the floor...pure

torture...LOL! The Abs and Glutes tape has a lot of the same moves

as AL5, but it's only 30 minutes...so it's not quite as deadly :) I

would definitely recommend it if you want a tape that works your butt

and abs :)
