Guest guest Posted March 25, 2004 Report Share Posted March 25, 2004 I am considering requesting Concerta for my 13 yr old son, but have heard that stimulants can aggravate anxiety (which he is prone to, as well as a little OCD like behavior. He is as yet undiagnosed, probably mild AS and anxiety. He does have ADHD characteristics also, and I would really like to help him concentrate, but I have avoided the stimulants so far. Reconsidering this though, as I have a feeling they could help.
