Guest guest Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 I am taking this opportunity to share with you an update on my HIV drug holiday plan. Previously on this forum with reservation I shared my plan. I was diagnosed with HIV in September of 1992. In September of 2004 because of the chance that I would loose my drug coverage I went on a plan of one week on and one week off of my cocktail. Those drugs are Viramune, Emtriva, and Viread. And I have been alerted that because of my protocol Viraumune is actually a monodgrug for that week I am off the meds. However I recently received my blood work and my t-cells are at 1120 and an undetectable viral load. And during the past two years my t-cells vacillated from 400 to 800. I have not been at that level in nine years. And not long after my initial diagnosis I had zero t-cells. I only posted this story to share my individual story and I am not recommend my protocol for everyone. Thank You Quote
