Ages are 12,11,8 & 6. 12 yr old has been diagnosed with Aspergers (last month) / ADHD, 11 yr old ADHD, 8 yr old ODD & 6 yr old ADHD with some aspergers tendencies. Guest guest Posted March 14, 2004 Report Share Posted March 14, 2004 Hi Dawn, you must be one busy lady! I have 2 boys (5 and 3) and 1 girl (7 mths) and find them a handful. Especially the two boys as they fight constantly. My oldest was diagnosed with Aspergers at the end of last year. We are repeating 4 yr old preschool this year and he is interacting and socialising a lot better but his behaviour at home is a lot worse. I also have post natal depression from having my second child so I'm finding life a real challenge at the moment. Fortunately my youngest is the perfect baby. Do you indulge in any time out or hobbies? I have found my knitting and recently patchwork are my sanity savers. Hope you enjoy this list. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Where do you live? Guest guest Posted March 14, 2004 Report Share Posted March 14, 2004 Leanne, I live in Ohio near Toledo. Getting away or time outs for myself are minimal. I do try to go out with a friend about every 2 to 4 months. Marvin then has to deal with the boys. Marvin (Husband) has been out of work since the end of May and has been able to help ,ore. But, The kids always come to me when they want something. I tend to get tired and tell them to ask dad. I do teach a Bible Class during Sunday morning worship and I guess I find peace in that to see how the kids minds work. It is amazing to see how kids minds work.
