A foundation we are with made it.. basically it starts like this......... (different kids say the following) " I was born with mental retardation. just because I live with mental retardation doesn't make me stupid. When you misuse the word retarded you insult,(family members say) " my sister, my friend my daughter, (we say) my family " (.back to kids). " will you please try to change, its ok to use the word retarded when(exmples given). (then typical kids and adults say), " im going to change, " (at the end a girl says) " please change the way you use the word retarded and help change the way the world sees me " ..then it closes with a close up of my son. It makes me cry every time I see. for those interested in showing it to schools or other places I can try and get a copy. michelle you can also go to _www.liliclairefoundation.org_ (http://www.liliclairefoundation.org) and see if they will send you a copy.
