Guest guest Posted August 8, 2006 Report Posted August 8, 2006 I watched the segment on GMA. They talked with 2 moms who have kids with ASD, and about the film they made, " Autism Every Day " . I just emailed GMA with this: " I am very glad GMA promotes Autism Awareness. To that, I must say that there are more & more children with Down Syndrome being diagnosed with Autism every day and we go unnoticed. 10% of kids with Down syndrome are more likely to develop Autism. We have a 6 1/2 yr. old daughter who was born with Down syndrome and was diagnosed with Autism 3 years ago. We would welcome to opportunity that GMA did a segment on this dual diagnosis.
