Guest guest Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 Well, I saw my colon specialist today and things are pretty bad. He said I need surgery to remove the diseased part of my colon or it will perforate. I am still reeling because I am so worried about Tori. I will be hospitalized from 5-7 days and then it takes between 6 & 8 weeks to recover. I am going to seek a second opinion to see what they say, but I know deep down it needs to be done. The only thing is they cannot do the invasive procedure with tiny incisions...it has to be a full blown major surgery because I have already had abdominal surgery when I had my gall bladder out.
