Guest guest
We received a call from ’s home director today that Musu who worked with the men died. She was a very sweet, caring, sensitive woman and will be so missed. She was visiting her family out east and had a heart attack, 48 yrs old. She had previous heart surgery and a pacemaker. ’s director was planning to tell the guys tonight. Below is the email I just received, so touching. has this 6th sense about him in situations like this and is so comforting. Louise Hi Louise and Andy, I came by the house tonight and brought Kim with me; she is our social worker/counselor…not sure if you have met her. She is amazing and knows exactly the right things to say. She helped me talk to the guys. I told privately in his room because you know he zips in there pretty fast. After I told him Musu was sick, he made the ‘dead’ sign and I said yes, and I repeated the sign. He just stood there quietly for quite a while. Then I told him we were all going to talk about it in the living room and did he want to come? He said yes and followed me, but first gave me a big gigantic hug. It was very sweet. Once we were all talking about it, was very quiet and solemn; I tried to translate as best I could, but he got it…. I was on the couch and he was behind me; he kept rubbing my back or the top of my head, and then at one point, when I was crying, he came up behind me and gave me a big. Meanwhile, Mike was taking out his handkerchief and was drying my tears and kept telling me not to cry and that it would be okay. Then Jerry came up on the other side of me; put his arm around me and took my head and put it on his shoulder. Louise, it was one of the most touching and amazing moments I have ever experienced here. It’s almost as if they knew…or maybe it was just mimicking things they have seen, but it didn’t feel like it. They were solemn and sweet and it was just different. Anyway, I thought I would share that special moment. went back to watching tv, and Kim gave us all some great pointers on how to deal with questions and emotions, and behavior changes that we might see….both in ourselves and with our guys. I told them all that Musu loved them all very much, and that she was still watching over them. And I also told them she will always be in their hearts. I know she will be in mine. I just wanted you to know how was today…he’s a special guy. -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
