Finally, we figured out that Elie would sit thru a movie and even enjoy a movie if we did 2 things - bathroom right after we entered the theater and purchasing that really big really expensive soda. The soda which he sipped on thru the movie was really heavy so that helped ground him sensorily. Empty bladder first helped him stay seated. Of course when we went to see 1001 Dalmations, he finished his soda and wanted to leave just before the ending to the movie!! BUT NOW HE LOVES GOING TO MOVIES AND NO SODA! We are careful about the movies we choose - no R or X and monitor the PG13. Have to be really careful with fight scenes so he doesn't want to replicate.
