Guest guest Posted October 7, 2005 Report Share Posted October 7, 2005 Hi, I am wondering what everyone else is doing. I am spanking Mic and I dont know what else to do. The evil eye will work occasionally. If I stay mad too long he forgets why I am mad and if I dont stay mad he repeats his bad behavior. I am seeing him push and rough house with other kids and me. Poor Steve is afraid to rough house and play with him because Mic crawls on everybodies head then and hes too big to be doing that.I cannot stay on top of Mic all day long like the school does.Their " Quiet Hands " technique works at school not at home.The school ignores bad behavior, sure I can ignore Mic when hes carrying the cat around by the neck or pinching my neck and wont let go. Time out makes no sense to Mic. I would have to tackle him to stay put.After I pat him on the butt and yell loud he gets it. He usually leaves the room.Sometimes he covers his eyes and peaks at me to see if I have the mad look on my face and if I do he quickly covers his eyes again. So cute very hard to stay looking mad. Mic also knows the sign for mad and once in awhile just signing mad will work but not often.Fortunately, Mic is the smallest kid in school so hes not hurting anyone I know of, the other kids ignore him or stay away and one bigger boy thinks its fun and watches out for Mic.I do have a meeting with the school on Thursday to discuss and wanted to ask advice here before I go.I hate yelling and spanking.
