Guest guest Posted September 16, 2004 Report Share Posted September 16, 2004 Yesterday while in Walmart pharmacy I ws standing in line behind a very pretty 25 or so year old girl.She asked the clerk in the pharmacy for some kind of B something syringes,the clerk asked her how many she wanted she asked how much they cost, apparently very inexpensive.To my shock the clerk handed her 10 syringes at the costs of $1.56 I kept watching she didnt have a prescription or sign anything,I then looked at her arms and saw little needle marks alll over her left arm on her veins.Again I was horrified,I cannot understand the laws in these states no wonder so much crime is going on.I understand this is also how Texas works.Not in NY not that easy at all.I cried on the way home and thought about that young girls parents and how shes ruining her life.Maybe this goes on all over but Ive have never actually seen it with my own eyes.Only on TV.Are all southern states so lax?I cant wait to get back to my safe small little country town.I just dont understand If I had a child down here I would be on constant alert and terrified.I never realized how naive I am.Why arent parents up in arms? This sure wouldn't be happening down here.
