I'm in Pompano Beach just north of lauderdale, south of boca and deerfield. I know you guys REALLY took a beating up there. If it comes by here we're all gonna stand outside and blow really hard to send it to, I don't know, how about Texas coast they haven't got hit for awhile. No, seriously I wouldn't wish this on anyone. I just pray it fizzles or something! I know for sure you guys up there simply cannot handle more. DH is going out to spend all the money I saved for 's out of pocket expense for Verbal behavior....about 4 months worth on a dang generator. He practically had to get in a fistfight to get it. Then my dad got dxed with Alzheimer's in California after they found him on the floor unconscious and took him to the ER and all of us kids are chipping in $ to get him a placement for now. Well, so much for retirement. At least we'll have a generator for 's VCR. Oh yeah she needs a new VCR too. I am sooooo tired of cooking and preparing and well, I'm sure you know exactly what I'm talking about and more. Well, fingers crossed, praying, and waiting. If it misses us somehow and heads for you....come on down! Sherry
Guest guest
Oh Sherry, I got a big laugh out of your letter thanks we needed it.Fortunately for us my dh is a contractor and he's coming down to fix the house plus I haven't seen them in more than 2 months. We thought about a generator too but we are only 1/4 mile from Jupiter Island beach we gotta get out.The police were going to the houses asking for a copy of your wills and wanted phone numbers of your next of kin.All of us evacuated.I am so sorry about your Dad I saw allot of alzheimers in the shelter. One man was only 58 his sister was caretaker she was about 5 ft and he was 6' 4 she was so burned out.She also was looking for placement for him he doesn't really know her anymore how sad.I've been coming down here for years and lived in Pt Charlette and Venice also Stuart and have never seen this many hurricanes and we have 2 more months of season to go.We aren't getting allot of info really I think its because of the tourist they don't want to scare them away I think I wanna be a tourist from now on.Thanks for the good laugh it will make me smile all day I just unpacked Im not packing again until Im sure we are in trouble, even if we get strong winds and rain it will wreak havoc around here with the debris laying all over. Thanks Love Laurie

Praying that all well go will for y'all with the next one on its way. Just got back from Corpus Christi which is near the Gulf Coast attending a great Texas State Autism Conference. Kept an eye out for any signs of it as the Conference was held right by the Shoreline as I thought the same thing too, if would head out by the Texas Coast line while I was out due to the fact it has been a while since Texas coast has been hit. Why not, the world has been pretty unpredictable lots of things going on. Stay safe. Take care. Irma,16,DS/ASD
