Hi, Everyone...a...what's the name of that creek?!?!? LMAO

Sara....I have given much thought to the college student living with us. We

have the room, but then, I think of Donna and her situation with 'live in'

help. When leaves next year for college, I will have to do something!!!

Kathy....welcome to the group. Donna and Ginny live in

the Philly area. Sara and I live farther away, but in Pa. As for benefits,

here in Lancaster county, it's little to none. Pa. has had no 'cost of living

increase' for services in the past 2-3 yrs. More people in the system, but no

money. Waiting lists are very long. State College area offered really good

services and schools, but you aren't heading there. My son's school district is

really good for inclusion....1:1 aide, the works. My son, Gareth, is 16 and

was dx. at 5 y/o, too. Keep us informed of your life.

FWIW.....Gareth is a 'counselor in training' at camp this year. It's only

for 2 weeks from 9-noon. This was his first week and I had to fight getting

him out the door each morning by telling him that had a job this summer and

he needed to learn a job, too. Basically, he's suppose to help the real

counselors. Well, this morning he got up and announced " No work 'day. Day

off.

Vacation. " " Nice try, Buddy " I said " but your day off is Sat. and

Sunday. " Mom won that one!!! Take care, Everyone.
