Irma,

Yeah, I'm glad that I watched the movie. I'm glad that you enjoyed watching

it.

Yeah, I hope that it was meanful for others that have a passion for autism.

That's cool about your friend.

I'm studying- I want to be a teacher's aide in a special ed classroom,

mostly for autism but I'll take whatever.

Right now I've been a afternoon/evening nanny for 2 children with A.D.D, and

the oldest is gifted. I've been a nanny for them for a year now. The

youngest was just diagnosed last month with it.

I'm just taking one class in the fall a fun class, swimming. AT least it

gives me something to do during the day.

Hey,

I said I enjoyed the movie in the previous email. Even though it was based

on a true story, TV movies are not realist as reallife since they mostly

cram the important stuff into movies. I overall enjoyed it, but like on some

things I disagree or questioned about.

Irma. and -

Please don't mind me. As I said my husband loved the movie and so did

many folks I know. Of course there are many children who DO function like these

boys, not so sure there are as many moms who are as graceful as this one (I know

I know it's just a movie) and unfortunately I've never had a plumber who

performed like Aiden Quinn ! hehe

I had just learned before the movie that Aiden Quinn actually has a HF autistic

dtr named Ava I believe. But any hope is good hope, and any education for the

public is good re: any disabilities.

I did indeed absolutely adore the very first part of the movie when the

kids are little, the diagnosis part and mom's struggles. I apologize for venting

my sarcasm on the list. Between my Dad forgetting my name (this is nothing new

BTW) and hurricane Charley coming I probably wasn't quite as receptive as I

could be. It's been on at least 3 times again on Lifetime so I'm sure we'll all

have a chance to review.

And as my hubby pointed out, if they were to televise the way can

pick one single word out of her hundreds of videos in order to communicate with

us the viewing public would probably consider her a savant too.

Again, I apologize to anyone I may have offended with my sarcasm (I have

to do this online at least once per year over something). You'd think I'd learn

:-))

love you all,

Sherry

Sherry,

I just wanted to put my opinion about it, and just vent about it. No harm in

telling about yours.

That's what this group does. Is discuss, learn from each other, and vent.
