Guest guest
Has anyone heard anything about RSV shots? My son had a series of them when he was born 6 weeks early in 2003. He was born at the end of July (2003) and had a single dose of Surfactant (Cerfactant, sp?) at birth to help his lungs (he was intibated at 12 hours old, given the surfactant, and then extibated right away, and then only needed CPAP after that, and afterwards made a HUGE turnaround for the better).. Anyway... Because he was a boy, a preemie, lung 'issues' at birth, he was at 'high' risk for RSV, and with preemies, I was 'informed' they get really really sick and most end up back at the hospital if they catch RSV, and since we are in Wisconsin, with brutal winters, it was HIGHLY suggested he get the series of shots, once per month, from October to March. I didnt want him back in the NICU, he was our first baby, we were naive, we believed in the medical establishment, I mean, why 'wouldnt we'? So he got a total of 6 shots, IN ADDITION to all of his 'recommended' and scheduled vaccinations. The shots were all dosed according to weight, we had to travel to the hospital, on the exact date each month, where he was weighed, and they dosed him according to weight. So, does anyone have any research/info on RSV shots? I am 'guessing' its along the same lines of all of the other vaccines out there..the lack of research, terrible or NO REAL safety info... Both of my sons regressed 'into' Autism after Vaccine Injuries, and surprisingly this is the first time I think I have even 'thought' about the RSV shots too...since they are not in his doctors records (the exact lot numbers/etc) but in his hospital records, which are still 'on order'...so any help/info/experiences would be great! Heck, I dont even remember the manufact. of them...so I didnt even try to search for an insert or anything yet... thanks in advance...
