Me too - this is one of my huge pet peeves - there are just so many

angles to disprove herd immunity if anyone would just stop and think!

It's said that the population coverage must be 90+% to protect the

herd, but somehow, the only population considered necessary for this

is babies and children - as if they are the only ones to carry and

pass on disease. Adults haven't ever gotten half of what they give

kids today, and the other half has worn off. The folks screaming

herd immunity in all liklihood are not up to date on all the crap

they shoot our kids up with.

Also, there's supposedly 10 million undocumented workers in our

country. I'm sure their vaccine status is not current, if they've

been vaccinated at all.

So, if herd immunity was necessary to keep infectious disease at

bay, we would be battling huge outbreaks of disease all the time

now!

Also, herd immunity theory admits that some folks who are vaccinated

will not develop antibodies - so it is well known that different

people respond differently to vaccines. We are not all alike! It

is not a one size fits all by this very admission!

The herd immunity lie just drives me crazy!!

Preaching to the choir,

Sally
