Guest guest
Hi all I had a major flare up and have not been on line for a while to read the messages. I have 60 in my box at the moment but no energy to read them right now. I am in the middle of what may be the worst flare up I have ever had. I am tired and cranky, not so much sore but sensitive to any little touch, the jeans on my legs are almost to much to bear. I have no concentration and my work is starting to be affected...I was pulled into a meeting because of their concern that I am so slow at my job these days. I cannot go for walks because I am so fatigued, i can not read because I can not concentrate, I can not do needle point because I have little or no fine motor skills at present. My laundry is piling up and I cannot get it done. I have no idea how to start. My Dr has put me on anti depressants. Can any one offer me some help. Guest guest
You need to do physical activity.. walking is great... you don't have to get out there like a maniac, but everyday..do some. it is very important.. take it day by day. Guest guest
Don't worry, there is help. I used to have horrible brain fog and eventually had to quit my job. (Thankfully my husband loves me, I can't imagine what would have happened otherwise.) A computer programmer has to have a brain that works, after all. Brain fog is caused by food allergies, candida, or other factors, maybe hypoglycemia too, that are a part of fibromyalgia syndrome. Get yourself tested for food allergies. Try to avoid those things or look into JMT or NAET, or perhaps NMT. You have to be on the fibromyalgia diet too, and keep things fairly alkaline. You have to avoid sugars, coffee, pop, alcohol, simple carbs like white flour or rice, etc. Try to get better sleep, if possible with sleep herbs like scullcap or valerian. Supplements - flax oil or fish oil for your Omega 3 fatty acids (Carlson's fish oil brand is very good), malic acid which is magnesium, which you're probably deficient in. Maybe MSM for pain. But pain is related to your general body toxicity. Cleanses are necessary. It takes a while to heal yourself but it can be done.
Guest guest
By the way, your doctor was wrong to put you on anti-depressants. You're much better off without them, and no I'm not a doctor. Those drugs can mess you up badly. Conventional medicine doesn't understand what causes fibro, and they don't understand how to treat it. They just try to medicate some of the symptoms like pain and sleep problems, so they give you sleeping pills, painkillers, and anti-depressants. None of these drugs really improve the fibro, and they're all somewhat toxic and harm your liver over time. Some people have died of fibromyalgia because of so many prescription drugs that eventually caused organ failure. Try omega-3 fatty acids for generaly health and depression, and you'll feel better physically and mentally anyway when you treat the fibromyalgia.
