Guest guest
Hi --June you may never need a bronchoscopy--i have had heaps of them in the past--if you have adequate sedation which i did i knew nothing about it woke up and went home 30mins later--a breeze--the only time i had a problem was when i had bronchograms which left my lungs full of that contrast stuff they use--coughed my head off for days--they dont tend to do bronchograms these days since the invention of high resolution CT scans--it must be nice to be feeling better--keep it up--cheers Del
Guest guest
This is what happened when I had my last bronchoscopy when I was 17. The doctor essentially vacuumed out my lungs, and I was infection-free for a few years!! Karin >My doctor told me that they can sometimes clean infection out of the lungs during a bronchoscopy. Guest guest
That true--they wash your lungs with saline then suck it back out and all the junk comes out with it--like getting the carpets shampooed---Del Re: Bronchoscopy > This is what happened when I had my last bronchoscopy when I was 17. > The doctor essentially vacuumed out my lungs, and I was infection-free > for a few years!! > > Karin > > > >My doctor told me that they can sometimes clean infection out of the > lungs during a bronchoscopy. > > > > > > >
Guest guest
It actually did not hurt, they did it to me, after giving total anesthesia, I never felt a thing. It wasn't a rinse though, it was a cut !P & DA Thistleton wrote: That true--they wash your lungs with saline then suck it back out and allthe junk comes out with it--like getting the carpets shampooed---Del Re: Bronchoscopy> This is what happened when I had my last bronchoscopy when I was 17.> The doctor essentially vacuumed out my lungs, and I was infection-free> for a few years!! >> Karin>> > >My doctor told me that they can sometimes clean infection out of the> lungs during a bronchoscopy.>>>>>>> Yahoo!
