Guest guest Posted October 16, 2006 Report Posted October 16, 2006 If you don't want to take meds, at least find out what your saliva pH is. You can do a lot with just diet changes. This is not just " sort of better " treatment. It reverses FMS symptoms. There's nothing for sale, and the truth will set you free. Guest guest Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Sometimes just changing some of what you eat. I have extremely severe Fibro, so I have to add a lot of alkali. For years we used TUMS, but that gave me kidney stones. Now I use water with alkali solution added. You can buy drops, but my compounding pharmacist make mine for me. Guest guest Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 DMSO is absorbed through the skin into the blood stream, hense the bad taste in your mouth after using it topically. I worked for a vet and was always told to wear rubber gloves while working with DMSO. It is used to reduce swelling. It works well, you just have to know that it is dangerous to the heart. Guest guest Posted November 14, 2006 Report Posted November 14, 2006 Alkali solution is just a liquid made up very alkali. Opposite of acid. I have to compensate greatly for my body's inability to control pH. You can buy little bottles of it as " alkali drops " online and in some health food stores. It's 13 pH. Just add to drinking water. Mine is made by my compounding pharmacist, per my doctor's prescription, so I am certain of the pH and quality. Because of the severity of my FMS, I have to walk the line on a lot of things. Got away with using the mass quantity of TUMS for the alkali I need for 5 years, but then starting throwing kidneys stones. Big ones, lots of them and often. Stopped when I switched to this. I had asked my doc if he would let me do it this way. The kidney stones were killing me, so it's been an excellent answer to the problem. I am so blessed to have two great comp pharms. Both are listed on the meds page on FibroFix. Remember, most of what they do is by prescription from your doctor. But you can email and ask all that. Hope this is what you are asking. Let me know if you have any other questions. We try to share everything we learn with all who need it. If your doc or pharmacist want this formula, it's simple; ask them to email or phone me and I'll hook them up. Anne annehillebrand@...
