SERVICE DOGS

colleen you sparked a question that has been on the backburner of my

mind....has anyone gotten a service dog for their child? I think it would be

very

beneficial to ashton, but i had to start a path that is going to be

heartbreaking

and unsuccessful........ she has had enough bad crapt in her life the last two

year, i only want joy.... lol like most of us........... thanks leah

I don't, but I soon might, since I'm going to be volunteering for

someone training service dogs for autistic kids. However, I know of

an autistic adult, Jim Sinclair(http://www.jimsinclair.org) who

trains his own service dogs. I think his current dog has a book about

him, The Story of Isoceles. But that may not be a book, you'd have to

check at his site.
