<<Hershey Park in Pennsylvania was worse!!! They only allowed ONE person to

accompany the disabled child on the rides, when it takes two of us to do so.

Plus, they didn't allow any other members of the family/party with you to go on

at the same time. >>

Hi, Everyone......this is NOT our experience with Hershey Park. You

should have complained to mangement. We live in the area and have gone there

repeatedly over the past 8 yrs and have always used the handicapped pass. We

were

there last August, in fact. They allow the whole family...up to 6

people....on each ride with the child. The only ride we had problems getting

'prompt'

service was the canyon raft ride. There is only one raft for the handicapped

line and there were several groups in front of us. I am sorry you had a bad day

at Hershey....it is not the norm for them and spec. ed kids. When you get

their handicap pass/bracelts they give you a book that tells all the rides and

the number of people that can go on. They have always allowed the whole family

to accompany the child. I'd be curious to know when you went...I will

personally call Hershey and discuss that with them. It's not good for them to

have

parents like yourself upset and telling others how bad it was!!!

Irma...way behind on messages but read about being in the hospital in

Dec. for bowel obstruction....how did I miss that? Hope he's OK. Does that

happen often? Take care, Everyone.
