Uh oh, I shoulda thought of this Laurie. Yes, it's called aspiration in

the lungs. I remember any time Maddie got sick as a baby, docs were always

eager to see her immediately because of reflux. Maddie never got it in her

lungs, but many kids with GERD do, and it is serious and needs to be taken care

of

right away. They'll take care of him and he'll be ok...but they have to

take care of the reflux soon.

Hang in there....I know how scary it is. You're doing a great job!!!
