Baths ended long ago due to all the pooping in the tub and massive quantities of water being deposited outside the tub. Hair washing was also avoided in the tub. Now using the shower likes the water as hot as he can get it (water heater is set low in our house) and when it comes time to wet and wash hair he he needs to lukewarm. Washing, well, the water goes off and when we are done with washing it goes back on. He isn't good with cause and effect but he gets this one. Now if we could just get past the shoe/sock issues. Guest guest
We use a hand held shower head for our kids. They can do it themselves with supervision of course. And Garry always ends up with a shower too. HaHa. Kids need this skill for camp. On Wednesday, January 21, 2004, at 05:46 AM, KVanRyzin@... wrote: > > Oh yikes. I still dread showers. Guest guest
We all do what works for our kids. It just takes time to figure out what works best. e.tiff> > & Garry Parents to Sam 13 (DS), Tim 12(DS), JJ 10(Autism, DS, Celiac Disease), 9(DS, ADHD, Celiac Disease, Hearing Impaired), Esther 6 (DS) All Adopted
