Hi Laurie, Don't feel intimidated. You have more in common than money. Just go and be yourself, rusty truck and all. You will be fine.Good people don't judge you on what you don't have. I hope you can get some good information and resources from this group. Chalryne Mom to Zeb 11 DS/OCD

Thanks for listening Laurie Laurie, After many years and medical issues with a variety of kids that I have cared for and far too many drs that I have dealt with I am giving you free advice. Plug your ears if you wish. No matter who refers or recommends a dr. be prepared to make your own decisions about them. Trust your gut! has some very wonderful drs in his life but we have met many who were over confident, over bearing and some who just didn't get it. I have shopped around and we use a psychiatrist from the Children's hosp, a ped. card from the university hosp, a ped. opthomologist from a private clinic and an audiologist who works on her own. The ENT is the best I can find in our area the most popular one was too cocky about 's heart issues. This one takes it seriously. I guess what I'm trying to say is that often you will have to hunt and peck to find the best for each of Mic's issues. Karyn
