Guest guest
Lynne, I sure hope 's chest improves quickly, I really don't fancy an IV spell in hopsital right now. Fortunately he never lets it get him down, he remains cheerful and lovely even when he has spent night after night coughing and restless. We had a great time shopping in Southampton after the hospital, We had gone over with a friend whose daughter also has Down Syndrome and had a Cardiac check up at more or les the same time. Eleanour is 6 and between the pair of them they never stopped smiling giggling and chatting all day! We had Christmas Dinner i the Hospital canteen, Turkey , roast potatoes, Carrots and sprouts, they both ate loads and were well stocked for the shopping expedition. We bought so much stuff we had a job to push 's wheelchair. We sat Eleanour on his lap for a while to give her a rest but then had to turf her off to let him carry some bits on his lap! We got back home just after 4 pm and I even managed to wrap what we had bought once they were all in bed! Not a terribly god night though as my hubby was not well! can't win them all! He has psoriasis and was feeling itchy and feverish all night! never mind at least i managed to get him to go to the doctors this morning and I managed to do my food shopping as well! Phew I think we may just about be ready for Christmas now! Hugs Tina Hillier Mum to , 14 years old and possesor of an Extra Special Chromosome.
